About The Work
This original illustration is created from an original photograph from my personal collection using colored pencil. It will be signed and dated when it is completed.
The paper used is 7” x 10” 98lb (160g) cardstock. It is archival and is suited for mixed media. I used this paper so there would be no warping when I used solvent (rubbing alcohol) to blend the colored pencil.
I left a thin white border that is about an 1/8” around the edge of the work and paper. This is simply to provide a bit of room for handling the work without touching the paper. Also working up to the edge is cumbersome.
